You’re Not The Best

Chances are you’re not going to be the best. That’s okay. I think not being the best is an advantage, because this allows you to be well rounded.

For some this is a hard idea to cope with. For others this is comforting.

I know I’m not going to be the best. I am in control of if I am happy, learning, and having fun. Take less time focusing on being the best, and more time focusing on yourself.

This post was inspired by my visit to Google today where I was surrounded by brilliant people. Around those people (for me) it can be hard to remember that you’re still smart and still happy with who you. People also grow into positions and don’t start where they end, as an amitious 20 year old this can be hard to remember.
